Thanksgiving

We went to Flower Mound for Thanksgiving this year. Although we didn't run in the official turkey trot this year, Nathaniel organized an "Around the Block" Turkey Trot. Makena came in first place.

Dino Land

We went to see the Dino Land exhibit while it was here at Zilker Park. Makena is really into dinosaurs. We can't figure it out, but she likes things that scare her. Anyway, she really enjoyed seeing all the dinosaurs, as long as they were behind the ropes!

Halloween Pictures

Makena was supposed to be an "Olympic Tour Guide" for Halloween (her aunt bought her this cute outfit in South Korea), but she wanted to wear her "Monkey suit". She loved wearing her monkey costume and telling everyone the sound a monkey makes. Once she figured out that she would get candy, it was hard to get her to stop trick-or-treating. We also had my two sisters-Amanda and Alicia here as well as Anna! Anna was a mermaid and was a great sport being dragged around by us all night.

Train Ride

Back in October we went to Rusk, Texas with Grandma, Grandpa Mark, Aunt Louise, Uncle DP, and Jacob to ride Thomas the Train. It was lots of fun, Makena LOVED all the special music and decorations on the train. She also like checking out the petting zoo, hay ride, and train tables that were there.

Visit to Sweetberry Farms

We visited Sweetberry Farms last weekend. Makena loved running through the Kiddie Maze. She wasn't a fan of the Pony Rides, but loved to watch the goats. She wasn't brave enough to feed them yet, but felt comfortable holding the food in her hands.
